A Good Reputation
My property was suffering from internal cracking and movement to the rear wall and floor. Andrew Wiggett came to site, and he cleared up the question about the foundations on the property and what could be done to fix the problem.

After our chat, I’m going to put it right in the left corner (against the party wall) which will allow a little bit of window light and more floor space which I’m really happy by.

I Have A Kitchen I Love, The Whole Family Do – Seriously Can’t Thank Them Enough
MAPL found a solution to holding up our kitchen ceiling that no-one else offered us…they explored other options after multiple companies advised us that we would have to retain this huge 3ft squared pillar, which was currently part of a wall that we were knocking down as part of the kitchen renovation.
John worked with our building team to engineer a crossover of plates in the ceiling, (I’m sure I’m not explaining this correctly) But basically for me, we ended up with a very elegant circular pole of around 5 inches, which was designed to come through our island.. so not only does it hold the ceiling up, it’s also an attractive feature piece.
It was a top class service from the first phone call for help! John came when he said he would, understood the problem and after some investigative work came up with the perfect solution, then worked with our builders to get it all in place.
I had never used a structural engineer before, I always thought they were for big commercial jobs, renovating my kitchen didn’t seem like a big job, but without MAPL’s input I would have ended up spending a lot of money on a kitchen that I would never have been happy with….instead I have a kitchen I love, the whole family do. Seriously can’t thank them enough. I’d recommend them 100%.

“Just Superb – I searched on Google and found 4-5 structural engineers in the area. You were the third company I called and you could visit my property quickly, provide a structural report within 2-3 days. You also advised that should my wall be found to not be load bearing, I wouldn’t have to pay the full fee.
We were looking to widen an opening to an existing archway. We didn’t expect what was found, although I was aware we may need an RSJ. It was a very quick turnaround, which meant our stress was reduced and we felt we were really pulled out of a hole.
