Robert Jones
Structural Engineer

Robert joined us in June 2013 after completing his first class Bachelors degree and a first class Masters degree in Civil Engineering at Coventry University (MEng).

Rob has worked on a variety of projects from simple beam designs (walls removals) to designing and leading the structural team on a £3 million basement extension and refurbishment project in Wargrave, Berkshire. This projects was very complex and included design of a 26mx12m two storey basement, temporary works and  repairs to the existing property.

He has managed and undertaken design work on a wide variety of large and small projects across many sectors, including education, healthcare, retail, residential, commercial, industrial, domestic, new build, extensions and refurbishment projects.

Rob has extensive knowledge of analysis and design of a wide range of structures covering the main structural materials of steel, timber, concrete and masonry.

He has always maintained a keen interest in the buildability and overall effectiveness of building designs and prides himself on his attention to detail on all projects, large and small.

Rob has a “can do” attitude, a determination to succeed and is fast approaching Chartered status.

Outside work, Robert is a scout leader and enjoys playing rugby for his local team.
