Our Ammunition Store Appraisal Process
As Chartered Structural Engineers, we provide independent Ammunition Store appraisals in accordance with Explosives Storage and Transport Committee (ESTC) Standard No. 6 and the MOD Explosives Regulations (JSP 482). Our inspections support the licensing, safety, and ongoing compliance of explosives facilities across the UK.

Our services include both Technical Inspections (undertaken every two years) and Professional Appraisals (undertaken every six years). Professional Appraisals are carried out by a competent person, as defined by ESTC 6, and are completed by Chartered Members of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or equivalent. Reports follow the principles set out in The Appraisal of Existing Structures published by IStructE and are issued within strict MOD timescales to support continued safe operation and regulatory compliance.
